Strategic planning webinar reviews four pillars of a successful 2024

Four pillars of successful strategic planning were recently shared as part of October Research’s webinar series by Aaron Davis, CEO of AMD Enterprises; and Jim Campbell, CEO of Title Alliance.

The pair discuss how they’ve guided their companies through multiple economic downturns and also share some of the secrets to succeeding in challenging markets.

Detailed aspects are provided for each pillar identified by Davis and Campbell as invaluable in getting optimal results: people, process, product and profit.

"We use a check-in email for our entire staff that’s just sort of a, ‘How are you doing this week?’” Davis said. "The minute you get a reply from someone who says they’re doing OK or bad, that gives you the ability to have a conversation and ask that person exactly what’s going on. Maybe it’s nothing work-related, something happening in the outside world with family or in their personal lives.

"As we all know, those kinds of situations can often bleed into business. So, it’s very important to have a great relationship and have those kinds of talks. See if there’s any way you can help. It could be there’s nothing you can do after something like a loss in the family, but you can always send flowers, food, anything to help them just a little bit.”

Other points of the discussion include the importance of finding the right customer relationship management system, right ways to implement artificial intelligence, best ways to communicate value proposition and how to find the most accurate profit projections.

Davis and Campbell also delve into numerous ways to enhance workflow, find optimal efficiency in varied market conditions and properly identify clients’ needs.
